MIDDLE SCHOOL RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Grades 6 - 7- 8
Wednesdays 6:30 - 8:15 PM

Grade 6 - Old Testament: From the study of Hebrew Scripture we find the roots of our Catholic Faith.

Grade 7 - Jesus: We learn to build a closer relationship with Jesus by studying both His divinity and His humanity and seeking to answer the question: "Who do you say that I am?"  The seventh grade also presents the living stations during lent.

Grade 8 - Morality/Church History: We begin to understand our responsibility for the choices we make and the moral implications of those choices in relationship to the teachings of the church. To understand church we need to know who we are as church. We also spend one day on retreat.

As a part of the religious education program, students in Grades 2 through 8 are provided with the opportunity to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation during the seasons of Advent and Lent.
